One day in October 2001, I found myself lost on a bridge in Jacksonville, Florida. After going around in circles about ten times, I began to panic but then I heard the voice of the Lord saying to me “I will give you the cities.”

The Lord said I would talk with women from all walks of life. He told me I would show them love and encourage them not to give up on life. I would be of service to women who are drug dependent, homeless and lost in despair said the Lord. In providing comfort and love I will remind these women just how much they are loved and valued by the Lord. The Lord provided me with the scripture: Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Lastly, the Lord presented me with our name, Women of Value Ministries.

Our mission is to help women overcome insecurities and embrace their true God given value. It is our vision to reach at least one woman with our ministry so that she can pay it forward to reach at least two women. Through street evangelism and a bit of tough love we help those in need by providing an ear to listen, praying for them, laying on hands with oil and providing resources. Women come in all shapes, sizes, colors, are made in the image of God so they are Valuable and have much to offer!
